After creating a team on fusedframes.com, go to the Connections page and create a new connection. This generates a unique connection link. Open the FusedFrames macOS app, paste in the connection key, and the app will authenticate with your account. The connection key can only be used once and is not shown again after creation.
FusedFrames requires macOS Sonoma (14.0) or later and an Apple Silicon (M1 or later) Mac. Intel Macs are not supported.
The app requires two macOS permissions, both granted through System Settings > Privacy & Security:
You will be prompted to grant these during the onboarding flow. If either permission is missing, the app cannot record actions.
FusedFrames logs your interactions with applications on your computer, including clicks, typing, copy and paste activity, keyboard input, drag-and-drop actions, application names, window titles, window content, screenshots and timestamps.
When FusedFrames detects that you have completed a meaningful action, it generates a short question asking why you made that decision. Your answers preserve the reasoning behind your workflow, which is the insight that cannot be derived from the actions alone. This is what allows FusedFrames to extract meaningful behavioural patterns rather than just a log of events.
Yes. Press Escape to dismiss a question without answering. The action and its events are still recorded, but without your reasoning attached. You can also press Shift+Enter to add a new line if your answer is longer.
Yes. Right-click the FusedFrames icon in your menu bar and select Pause to temporarily stop all monitoring. Select Resume when you want to start recording again. You can also use the Force Question option to manually trigger a question at any time.
No. The app automatically filters out any interactions with the FusedFrames application itself.
Actions are stored locally on your Mac and periodically synced to the cloud. If you lose your internet connection, the app continues collecting locally and uploads everything once the connection is restored.
Each connection supports one active session at a time. If you connect from a new device using the same connection, the previous session is revoked. To record from multiple devices, create a separate connection for each one from the Connections page.
Open the app from the menu bar and choose to disconnect. The app will upload any remaining pending actions before revoking the session and clearing all local data.
A pattern library is a collection of behavioural patterns that FusedFrames extracts from your recorded actions using AI. Each pattern describes a recurring behaviour with structured fields: what the user does, why they do it, what triggers it and what the outcome is. Patterns also track which applications are involved and how frequently the behaviour has been observed.
Go to the Patterns page and create a new library. Each library is linked to one or more saved queries that define which actions it processes. Saved queries let you filter actions by connection, date range, application and whether they have responses.
Each pattern library has one of three processing modes:
Patterns are connected to each other through directed relationships called edges. These describe how patterns relate, such as one pattern often following another, being a variation of another or contradicting another. The context graph is an interactive visualisation of all patterns and their relationships across your libraries.
Processing credits are consumed when FusedFrames uses AI to extract patterns from your actions. Each action processed into a pattern costs one credit.
The Hobby plan includes 250 processing credits per month. The Pro plan includes 1,000 per month. Enterprise plans have a custom credit allocation. Monthly credits are granted on the anniversary of your plan subscription date.
There are three types of processing credits, each with different expiry rules:
Yes, on the Pro and Enterprise plans. Go to Settings > Billing and purchase additional credits. The minimum purchase is 1,000 credits. Additional credits are not available on the Hobby plan.
Pattern extraction pauses until your credits renew or you purchase more. Your team will receive an email notification when the balance reaches zero. Actions continue to be logged and synced normally, but they will not be processed into patterns until credits are available.
FusedFrames offers three plans:
You can upgrade from Hobby to Pro at any time from Settings > Billing. To upgrade to Enterprise, contact our sales team. If you cancel your Pro subscription, it remains active until the end of the current billing period and then reverts to the Hobby plan.
Payments are processed through Stripe. You can pay with any major credit or debit card. Pricing is available in USD, EUR and GBP, applied based on your region.
Go to Settings > Members and click Invite Members. Enter one or more email addresses and assign a role. Invitations are sent by email and expire after 7 days. The Hobby plan is limited to 1 member, Pro supports up to 30 and Enterprise has no limit.
There are three roles:
Go to Integrations > API in your team dashboard. Create a new key and choose whether it can access all pattern libraries or only specific ones. You can also set an expiry date and toggle whether the key can access raw evidence data. The key is shown once at creation and cannot be retrieved afterwards.
The API is read-only and provides access to your pattern libraries, individual patterns, pattern relationships and the evidence actions that support each pattern. It is designed for AI agents, RAG pipelines and any external system that needs to query your team's behavioural expertise.
Yes. The API allows 100 requests per 60 seconds per API key. Rate limit information is included in the response headers. If you exceed the limit, you will receive a 429 status code with a Retry-After header.
API access is available on all plans.
For up-to-date information on the CLI, visit the CLI page in the dashboard. The package is available on npm.
Action exports are available on the Enterprise plan. You can export actions by saved query or individually, and patterns by library or date range. Supported formats are JSON, CSV and XLSX.
Actions are stored locally on your Mac and synced to our cloud infrastructure. Only structured action data, events and your question responses are transmitted to the cloud.
Because FusedFrames monitors interactions across all applications, it may record text you type, content you copy, names of applications and windows you use and labels of UI elements you interact with. To help with this, the macOS app includes an upload delay setting that gives you a window to review and delete any actions before they sync to the cloud. You can set this to anywhere between immediate and 15 minutes. Any actions you delete locally during this window will never be uploaded. Evidence access on API keys is also disabled by default to prevent unintentional exposure of this data through integrations.
The app checks for updates automatically. When a new version is available, you will be prompted to download and install it.
