How do I connect my computer to FusedFrames?

Create a workspace at fusedframes.com, go to the Devices page and add a device, which creates a one-time pairing key. Open the desktop app, paste the key in and the device connects to your workspace. Each key works once and is not shown again after creation.

What are the system requirements for the desktop app?

On macOS, any Apple Silicon or Intel Mac running macOS 12 Monterey or later, plus the Accessibility and Screen Recording permissions granted through System Settings during setup. On Windows, a 64-bit PC running Windows 10 or later with no special permissions. Both need an active internet connection.

What exactly does FusedFrames record?

What you do in the applications you work in: clicks, typing, copy and paste and drag and drop. It also records application and window names, window content, small captures of parts of the screen and the date and time of each step. Passwords, card numbers, keys and other secrets are stripped on your device before upload, and anything involving the FusedFrames app itself is filtered out automatically.

Why does the app ask me questions?

It asks only when a recording contains a decision the steps alone cannot explain. The first few days bring more questions while it learns how you normally work. After that, repeats are recorded silently and you are only asked when something is genuinely different. Press Escape to dismiss a question, and answer later or not at all.

How do I start or stop recording manually?

Right-click the FusedFrames icon in your menu bar or system tray and choose Stop recording or Start recording. On Team and Enterprise, recording rules can also start and stop recording for you based on the application, the window title or the time of day. If you lose your internet connection, recording pauses by itself and picks back up when you are online again.

What is a document library?

A collection of documents written from the recordings you choose to feed it. Each library sets the template its documents follow, plus the categories and tags that organise them. Each one writes in one of three modes: automatically from every matching recording, only after you approve recordings in review or paused entirely.

How is AI usage billed?

Accepted Answer

In dollars, at exactly what the AI providers charge us. We add nothing on top. Individual includes $5 of free AI usage every month. Top up from $5 at a time in the app, or turn on auto top-up so the balance refills itself. On Team and Enterprise you can bring your own AI provider key and pay your provider directly instead.

What happens if my AI credit runs out?

Recording processing and document writing pause until you top up. Nothing already captured is lost: it is processed as soon as credit is available. You get an email when the balance runs low and another when it reaches zero, and auto top-up prevents the pause entirely.

How do I invite people to my workspace?

Accepted Answer

Go to Workspace settings, open Members and choose Add members. Enter one or more email addresses and assign each person a role. Invitations arrive by email and are valid for seven days. Alongside the built-in roles of Owner, Admin, Editor, Billing manager and Device user, you can create custom roles with exactly the permissions you want.

How do I create an API key?

Open API keys in the sidebar of the dashboard or the desktop app and create a key. Choose which document libraries it can read and set an end date if you want one. Then decide whether it can open the source recordings behind your documents. The key is shown once when it is created. After that it cannot be shown again, only replaced. Keys are read-only, work on every plan and allow 100 requests every 60 seconds.

Where is my data stored and how is sensitive content handled?

Recordings and documents are stored in your workspace on secure cloud servers, encrypted in transit and at rest. The desktop app strips passwords, card numbers, keys and other secrets before anything leaves your device. Our servers then run a second check when it arrives, as an extra layer of protection. Your data is kept while your workspace is active, and deleting a recording, device, workspace or account permanently removes its data.

Can I export my data?

Documents export on every plan in JSON, CSV, XLSX and PDF, by library, date range or hand-picked selection. Recording exports are available on Enterprise in JSON, CSV and XLSX. Invoices can be downloaded as PDFs from the billing page.
