After creating a team on fusedframes.com, go to the Connections page and create a new connection. This generates a unique connection link. Open the FusedFrames macOS app, paste in the connection key, and the app will authenticate with your account. The connection key can only be used once and is not shown again after creation.
FusedFrames requires macOS Sonoma (14.0) or later on Apple Silicon (M1 or later) and an active internet connection. Intel Macs are not supported.
The app requires two macOS permissions, both granted through System Settings > Privacy & Security:
You will be prompted to grant these during the onboarding flow. If either permission is missing, the app cannot record actions.
FusedFrames logs your interactions with applications on your computer, including clicks, typing, copy and paste activity, keyboard input, drag-and-drop actions, application names, window titles, window content, small captures of screen regions and timestamps.
The app only asks when there's context an AI couldn't infer from the action itself. Early on you'll see more prompts as it builds a baseline of how you work; once a behaviour has been seen before, repeats are recorded silently and you'll only be asked again if a decision meaningfully deviates from the previously observed action. Your answers preserve the reasoning that makes each pattern useful to your AI agents.
Yes. Press Escape to dismiss a question without answering. The action and its events are still recorded, but without your reasoning attached. You can also press Shift+Enter to add a new line if your answer is longer.
Yes. Right-click the FusedFrames icon in your menu bar and select End capture to stop capturing. Select Start capture when you're ready to begin again.
No. The app automatically filters out any interactions with the FusedFrames application itself.
As you work, captured events are sent to your FusedFrames account. Sensitive data is automatically stripped on your Mac before anything is transmitted, with a second pass on our servers.
The macOS app requires an active internet connection. If you lose connectivity, capture pauses and the app shows an offline indicator in the menu bar. Once you're back online, capture resumes automatically.
Each connection supports one active session at a time. If you connect from a new device using the same connection, the previous session is revoked. To record from multiple devices, create a separate connection for each one from the Connections page.
Open the app from the menu bar, go to settings, and choose to disconnect. The app will upload any remaining pending actions before revoking the session and clearing all local data.
A pattern library is a collection of behavioural patterns that FusedFrames extracts from your recorded actions using AI. Each pattern describes a recurring behaviour with structured fields: what you do, why you do it, what triggers it and what the outcome is. Patterns also track which applications are involved and how frequently the behaviour has been observed.
Go to the Patterns page and create a new library. Each library is linked to one or more saved queries that define which actions it processes. Saved queries let you filter actions by connection, date range, application and whether they have responses.
Each pattern library has one of three processing modes:
Patterns are connected to each other through directed relationships called edges. These describe how patterns relate, such as one pattern often following another, being a variation of another or contradicting another. The context graph is an interactive visualisation of all patterns and their relationships across your libraries.
FusedFrames bills two kinds of AI work as credits. Capture credits are consumed by the macOS app as it turns raw events into meaningful actions. Processing credits are consumed by the web app when you distill those captured actions into reusable patterns for your AI agents. Each captured action costs one capture credit; each action processed into a pattern costs one processing credit.
The Pro plan includes 2,000 capture credits and 400 processing credits per monthly billing period. Enterprise plans have custom allocations for both credit types. Monthly credits are granted at the start of each billing period and reset at the end of that period.
There are three types of each credit, with identical expiry rules:
Go to Settings > Billing and purchase additional capture or processing credits in whatever quantity you need. Credits are priced in US dollars at the same per-credit rate as the Pro plan ($0.03 per capture credit, $0.10 per processing credit).
If capture credits are exhausted, the macOS app stops capturing new events until credits refresh or you top up. If processing credits are exhausted, pattern extraction pauses in the web app — any actions already captured remain intact and ready to process once credits are available. You will receive an email notification when either balance reaches zero.
FusedFrames offers two plans:
To upgrade from Pro to Enterprise, contact our sales team. You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from Settings > Billing. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Payments are processed through Stripe. You can pay with any major credit or debit card. All billing is in US dollars. If you're visiting from the UK or the Eurozone we show a local-currency estimate alongside the USD figure as a guide — your card is charged in USD and your bank converts at its prevailing rate.
Go to Settings > Members and click Invite Members. Enter one or more email addresses and assign a role. Invitations are sent by email and expire after 7 days. Pro supports up to 30 members and Enterprise has no limit.
There are three roles:
Go to Integrations > API in your team dashboard. Create a new key and choose whether it can access all pattern libraries or only specific ones. You can also set an expiry date and toggle whether the key can access raw evidence data. The key is shown once at creation and cannot be retrieved afterwards.
The API is read-only and provides access to your pattern libraries, individual patterns, pattern relationships and the evidence actions that support each pattern. It is designed for AI agents, RAG pipelines and any external system that needs to query your team's behavioural expertise.
Yes. The API allows 100 requests per 60 seconds per API key. Rate limit information is included in the response headers. If you exceed the limit, you will receive a 429 status code with a Retry-After header.
API access is available on all plans.
For up-to-date information on the CLI, visit the CLI page in the dashboard. The package is available on npm.
Pattern exports are available on both the Pro and Enterprise plans. Action exports are available on the Enterprise plan only. You can export actions by saved query or individually, and patterns by library or date range. Supported formats are JSON, CSV and XLSX.
Captured actions and events are stored in your FusedFrames account. Sensitive data is automatically stripped on your Mac before anything is transmitted, with a second pass on our servers. Your data is retained while your account is active — deleting a connection or account permanently removes the associated data from our systems.
Because FusedFrames monitors interactions across applications, some potentially sensitive content may appear in captured events. To protect it, the macOS app automatically detects and strips sensitive data before any event leaves your device, and our backend applies a second pass as defence in depth. Evidence access on API keys is also disabled by default to prevent unintentional exposure through integrations.
No. FusedFrames will never train its own AI model on your data, and our AI processors are contractually prohibited from training on your data under our data processing agreements with them.
The app checks for updates automatically. When a new version is available, you will be prompted to download and install it.
